Dedications, Corruption and Infamy Spends

Hey all! Just a little set of reminders about how Infamy Spends work when you have certain levels of Corruption, or you are Dedicated to a God.

At 0-20 Corruption, an Infamy Spend can be used in the following ways:

  • Remove all levels of Fatigue.
  • Heal 1d5 Wounds and any Critical Damage (though the effects of any Critical Damage are not removed).
  • Have a +10 bonus to a single Test before rolling.

At 21-60 Corruption, a Heretic can use an Infamy Spend in the following, additional ways:

  • Heal 1d5+1 Wounds and any Critical Damage (though the effects of any Critical Damage are not removed).
  • Re-roll any failed Characteristic Test, with the same modifiers. You cannot re-roll a re-roll.
  • Add one Degree of Success to a successful Test.

At 61-100 Corruption, a Heretic can use an Infamy Spend in the following, additional ways:

  • Heal 1d10 Wounds and any Critical Damage (though the effects of any Critical Damage are not removed).
  • Roll a 10 for Initiative.
  • Immediately recover from being Stunned.

Meanwhile, your Dedication gives you additional uses and restrictions for the use of your Infamy Spends. They are as follows:

Khorne: At 21+ Corruption, can spend Infamy to instantly succeed on a Weapon Skill or Ballistic Skill Test with one Degree of Success. This must be chosen before rolling. However, at any Corruption level, when rolling to regain Wounds by spending Infamy, the Heretic reduces the number of Wounds regained by 2, to a minimum of 1.

Nurgle: At any Corruption level, when rolling to regain Wounds with an Infamy Spend, the heretic counts as rolling the maximum number. However, the Heretic cannot use Infamy Points to re-roll Tests.

Slaanesh: At 21+ Corruption, when suffering a Critical Hit, can spend Infamy to ignore any effects generated of that hit, except for permanent limb loss, death and becoming Stunned. However, at 61+ Corruption, the heretic cannot use Infamy Points to recover from being Stunned.

Tzeentch: At 0-20 Corruption, the heretic can spend Infamy Points to add one Degree of Success to a successful Test. At 21+ Corruption, the heretic can spend Infamy to add 1d5 Degrees of Success to a successful Test. However, the Heretic cannot spend Infamy to gain +10 to a Test.
