Vex is a cynic, selfish and disillusioned, angry and bitter and eager to see the works of the Imperium fall apart, just like his own life did.

Vex is a man in his thirties, of average height but thin from stress and hardship. He is most comfortable fully armoured, in which state he cuts an intimidating figure - the carapace plates lacquered in black and ornamented with decorative studs and rivets, his face creased by a perpetual frown. On the rare occasion that he goes out and about without his armour, he prefers fine clothing and jewellery, though he will acquiesce reluctantly when Laval insists he dress simply for certain tasks.
